  • Olive Leaf Extract

Olive leaf extract is obtained from the leaves of Olea europaea and is standardized to contain a minimum of 20% Oleuropein.

    • Oleuropein is a phenolic compound that displays activity against a range of microorganisms (In vitro study)
    • Could help in the management of oral ulcers as it reduces the pain associated with it and additionally has no side effects on healthy tissue (Clinical study)
  • Terminalia chebula Extract

Standardized to contain a minimum to 50% tannins, this extract is derived from dried fruits of Terminalia chebula. The extract may be effective as published reports indicate its ability to increase salivary pH and inhibit activity of Streptococcus mutans (a gram-positive coccus, commonly found in the human oral cavity and is a significant contributor to tooth decay).

    • Regulates oral bacterial count (In vitro study)
    • Helps control formation of caries (tooth decay) (Clinical study)
  • Magnolia Extract

Magnolia extract is obtained from the bark of Magnolia officinalis, standardized to contain a minimum of 15% Magnolol and 10% Honokiol. It has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Magnolia extract displays activity against a range of microbes, including Bacillus subtilis, Veillonella dispar and Capnocytophaga gingivalis―known for causing oral problems.

    • Regulates oral bacterial count (In vitro study)
    • Acts against plaque formation and controls gingival inflammation (Clinical study)
    • Effective as an antiseptic (In vitro study)
  • Berberine Hydrochloride

A golden yellow alkaloid derived from the roots of Berberis aristata. Standardized to contain a minimum of 97% Berberine Hydrochloride, the extract has been reported to

    • Control plaque and gingivitis in children (Clinical study)
    • Displays potent antimicrobial activity against oral pathogens
      (In vitro study)
  • C3 Reduct® ODN

A colorless, hydrogenated product obtained from the rhizomes of Curcuma longa, it is standardized for minimum 95% Tetrahydrocurcuminoids (THCs), which contains Tetrahydrocurcumin (THC), Tetrahydrodemethoxycurcumin (THDMC) and Tetrahydrobisdemethoxycurcumin (THBDMC). It may prove useful in countering periodontal problems like gingivitis, works as an anti-plaque and anti-inflammatory agent.

  • Licorice Extract

Extracted from the dried roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra. Clinical studies indicate its usefulness in oral health by reporting benefits, which include activity against bacteria, plaque formation and cavities. Antibacterial activity includes inhibition of strains like S. mutans and L. acidophilus.

    • Potent cariostatic (Clinical study)
  • Triphala Extract

Triphala extract is obtained from dried fruits of Emblica officinalis, Terminalia chebula and Terminalia belerica and standardized to contain 40% tannins. This extract is known to provide relief from a range of dental problems like caries, bleeding gums, gingivitis and stomatitis.

    • It displays anti-microbial activity (In vitro study)
    • Reduced plaque and gingival index (Clinical study)
    • Helps in improving tooth sensitivity (Clinical study)
